For one of our leading clients in the taps and fittings sector, we designed and built a laser marking station for stainless steel and chrome-plated products, such as thermostatic valves for showers and bathtubs.
Special templates have been designed (one for each product format) which house the piece, keeping it in the correct position during marking.
An automatic system allows the piece to rotate 360° and the correct focusing distance is programmed through the linear movement of the axis.
Marking is carried out using FIBER Q-Switch 30Watt-R technology for marking/coding in an industrial environment, with a pulsed light laser source, transmitted via optical fibre.
Permanent marking that occurs without contact . No preliminary or subsequent processing is required, thus reducing production costs.
