Laser markers are electro-optical devices, with no moving parts. Therefore, no friction – and no wear! No maintenance required! An essential benefit that does away with the need for periodic technical servicing, guaranteeing customers operating continuity and significant cost savings.
The mean time between failures (MTBF) is estimated at roughly 60,000 work hours, which comes out to about 6 to 8 years of continuous production 24/7. Or around 17 years of machine running time on two 8-hour work shifts (in a work year of 220 days).
In all cases, Arca provides a telephone assistance service, with a software module installed on the marker’s control PC during the installation phase. Any customer anywhere in the world can therefore receive support directly from Arca’s production facilities, where our most qualified and knowledgeable technicians are ready to provide servicing support. This way, diagnostics are performed by an expert staff, promptly and without incurring travel costs.
In rare cases of malfunctions, Arca guarantees its customers holding a service agreement the dispatching of a new component within 8 hours of the diagnostics phase.
